The history of the house Pierantonio Bonacina is closely linked with design: the traditional know-how of manufacturing natural material such as rush, rattan & cane as well as synthetics & leather. Pierantonio Bonacina also discovered the professional use of design as a strategy of the future in the 60s. As a result of the co-operation with renowned designers such as Gio Ponti, Marco Zanuso, Tito Agnoli, Joe Colombo, Nanna Ditzel, Sergio Asti, Ico & Luisa Parisi and Frederic Fogh innovative products have been created, which interweave craftsmanship and industrial design in an especially creative way. The products of Pierantonio Bonacina - originally designed to be used in homes only - gradually conquer the modern office world as in modern office environments, which are seen as rooms of communication and creativity, those areas are attributed increasing importance which support "soft values" such as the quality of mobility, social networking and corporate identity.
