The Gervasoni company was founded in 1882 by Giovanni Gervasoni. Since it's founding the company has been renowned for its high quality woven design furniture. The materials used are primarily bamboo, rattan, cane, rawhide and also abaca, iron and aluminium.
In the Gervasoni collections both common and exotic materials (almost always used in their natural state) are combined in elementary shapes. For the company, maintaining a good relationship with nature is a primary concern.
The Italian designer Paola Navone has been responsible for their design since 1998.
