Minotti is one of the world's leading contemporary furniture manufacturers. It's all extremely elegant furniture, stylish and tasteful. Modern, but classic. "They're not trendy pieces," says Bonetti. "They have very clean, simple lines. It doesn't date. They're pieces you can have for 20 years." Minotti is based in Milan, and has been making furniture for six decades. Bonetti says the company started off making traditional furniture, but when a second generation (Renato and Roberto Minotti) took over they hired the cream of contemporary designers and moved into more modern furniture lines. "They're definitely a leader in design," says Bonetti. "Other manufacturers will look to Minotti to see what the trends are and what direction they're going to guide their own companies." Minotti's designs aren't only beautiful, they're extremely functional. Take the Hamilton sofa. "It's a sectional comprised of individual pieces that you put together, so you can make it as large as you want to make it," explains Bonetti. "You can also pull ottomans into it, so it can be sort of a complete sectional for a media room or somewhere you really like to lounge."
