Lissoni Associati (1986) and Graph.x (1992) were founded by Piero Lissoni and Nicoletta Canesi and handle architecture, art direction, graphic design, interiors and public relations. A firm of over forty designers and architects who work together to find solutions for their impressive range of clients, including Boffi, Cassina, Cappellini, Lema, Living Divani, Porro, Alessi, Kartell and Flos/Antares. Industrial design and graphics projects range from furniture, accessories, kitchens, bathrooms and lighting fixtures to corporate identity, signage and packaging. Interior design projects include designs for showrooms, trade stands, hotels and private homes. The most recent projects include the restoration and decoration of public spaces in the five-star Venice hotel “Monaco and Grand Canal” and interiors and graphics for “S, Marco 1435” - a multifunctional space comprising a bar, restaurants, bookstore and gallery, and in Switzerland, the interiors for the “Al Porto” hotel in Laachen near Zurich. Others include the Istanbul “Bentley” design hotel, Boffi showrooms in Paris, New York, Los Angeles, Milan and Miami, Cassina IXC showrooms in Osaka and Tokyo, Cassina showroom in Paris, Wella Studio in Milan, Rossano Ferretti and Piergiuseppe Moroni hair-styling showroom concepts as well as interior design for private homes in Milan, Monte Carlo, Tokyo and Shanghai, private villas in Parma and Como, factory and offices for Matteograssi, the expansion of the Boffi factory and, with Studio Brenta, the interior decor of a private sailing yacht. Since January 2003 a new association has been working side by side with Lissoni Associati and Graph.x: the joint venture with the Milan firm of architects of Giampiero Peia led to the setting-up of Lissoni Peia Associati to develop and expand the architecture department. Projects by the newly founded Lissoni Peia Associati include a high-rise residential building in Shanghai, factory and offices for Living Divani, Cassina IXC showrooms in Osaka, Tokyo and Nagoya, exhibitions and special events for Chrysler-Jeep, a residential building in the centre of Milan, the public library in Fidenza, a residential complex in Gallarate and a holiday village and hotel by Lake Maggiore with sports and meeting centres, restaurants, yacht club and marina.
