The work of Stua is conceived and executed at an extraordinarily high level of aesthetic and engineering detail. The work is innovative and original. It is suitable equally for commercial and residential applications. This work from much of contemporary design by its enduring nature of form. There is a fresh spirit to the work, but its character is grounded firmly in the principles and character of classic modern design, that of simplicity and timelessness. During last April, Stua showed in the Milano fair where the new ONDA stool was presented. Thank you very much to everyone who visited us, because of the extraordinary experience it was for us. It is already here and it will stay long with us: the new ONDA stool designed by the founder of Stua Jesus Gasca. The artist Aitor Ortiz and Stua we have started a very special project to link both art and design. This is a work in progress and will be completed by November. Gas has been awarded the IF silver prize for best furniture design 2002. These awards are considered the Oscars of design in Europe. As creator of Gas, Jesus Gasca accepted the award on behalf of Stua from designer Ross Lovegrove. The ceremony took place in Hannover, Germany .
